Kulshan Carbon Trust (KCT) Board of Directors seeks a Treasurer to help steward the financial health of our growing nonprofit focused on regenerative natural climate solutions. This is a unique opportunity to apply your financial skills to build a more resilient future for NW Washington and to play a significant role in shaping a network of place-based carbon trusts into the burgeoning bioregionalism and regeneration movements. Mission:We catalyze community-led collaborations that empower land stewards to implement regenerative solutions, such as biochar, to restore ecosystems, drawdown carbon, and build climate resilience across our bioregion. We connect farmers, landowners, researchers, funders, and community members to turn these solutions into on-the-ground impact — and help build a broader movement of place-based carbon conservation trusts. Serve as audit and tax compliance liaison. Maintain banking relationships and internal controls. Contribute financially to KCT, if you are able, and support the organization through fundraising activities. Participate in five or more bi-monthly board meetings per year and join one or more board committees and/or collaborative workgroups.
