Volunteer: Be a Donation Coordinator at Lydia Place!Love organizing and want to help get donations into the hands of community members in need? Volunteer at Lydia Place as a Donation Coordinator! Lydia Place works with families that have experienced homelessness or housing instability. We need your help sorting through donations, designating them to the appropriate locations, and dropping off at various facilities around Bellingham to get these items to the people in our community who need it most! VOLUNTEER POSITION: DONATION COORDINATOR POSITION SUMMARY: Sorts Lydia Place donations that we receive at the office and transports them to the appropriate location. Helps maintain order in the storage shed by organizing storage items. EXPECTATIONS: Once per week, 2-3 hours during regular 9-5 business hours. We have multiple fundraising events every year that we need support putting posters up to boost ticket sales & raise funds for the families in our programs. We have a list of places that we can provide, including college campuses, breweries, and high-traffic businesses or community meeting spaces with a place to put up posters! We are currently hoping for support for both of our upcoming events: - Wine Walk - event date: April 23rd, 2026 - Handbags for Housing: June 4th, 2026 RSVP here or reach out to Kayly (kaylyr@lydiaplace.org) to learn more!
