Come join the fun and help us make our Annual Summer Celebration an unforgettable day for the community! Cascade Connections is looking for enthusiastic, community-minded volunteers to lend a hand at Pioneer Park in Ferndale, WA. Whether you want to help us kick things off with setup, greet our wonderful guests, manage fun games and activities, or help us wrap up a great day, we have a role for you. Be part of an uplifting community event, meet wonderful people, and make a direct positive impact!

Volunteer Roles & Shifts:
Choose the shift (or shifts) that best fit your schedule and interests:
1. Set Up Crew
Time: Saturday @ 9:30 AM
12 volunteers needed
Details: Meet at Pioneer Park to set up tables, chairs, signs, etc.
2. Welcome Table
Details: Responsible for greeting attendees, handing out name tags and meal tickets, and directing folks as needed.
Shifts:
- 1st Round: 10:45 AM – 12:00 PM (6 volunteers needed)
- 2nd Round: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM (4 volunteers needed)
3. Games
Details: Assist with running and managing fun games for event attendees.
Shifts:
- 1st Round: 10:45 AM – 11:45 AM (2 volunteers needed)
- 2nd Round: 11:45 AM – 12:45 PM (2 volunteers needed)
- 3rd Round: 12:45 PM – 1:45 PM (2 volunteers needed)
4. Tie-Dye Station
Details: Help guide participants and assist with the creativity at our popular tie-dye station!
Shifts:
- 1st Round: 10:45 AM – 12:00 PM (6 volunteers needed)
- 2nd Round: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM (6 volunteers needed)
- 3rd Round: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM (6 volunteers needed)
5. Cooling Tent
Details: Staff the cooling tent to ensure guests stay comfortable and hydrated.
Shifts:
- 1st Round: 10:45 AM – 12:00 PM (1 volunteer needed)
- 2nd Round: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM (1 volunteer needed)
- 3rd Round: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM (1 volunteer needed)
6. Clean Up Crew
Time: 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
21 volunteers needed
Details: Help clean up and close down the event, including returning all Cascade Connections items back and unloading them to the storage units.
