Saturday, 6/15: 9:00 am—3pm or until job is done
- Cut and drop bldg to the ground
- Cut up and put debris into dumpster
- People needs: 6-12, construction skills helpful but not necessary, age 12-100 (parent supervision if under 18)
- Suggested protective gear: work boots or sturdy shoes, long sleeved shirt or jacket, work gloves, hearing protection, eye protection, hardhat
- Bring if you can: sawzall, circular saw, 50’ extension cord, hammers, crowbars, sledgehammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, wheelbarrows
- Bring a lunch, we will take a break at noon.
NOTE: There is lead paint on the exterior of this building. As a result respirators, long sleeves, and gloves will need to be worn when doing cutting or other activities which could release lead paint particulate. Interfaith will have respirators available for your use. Work clothes will need to be laundered after your day on site.
