Are you interested in the issues surrounding affordable housing? Want to start working towards a solution? The Habitat Store sells donated new and used furniture, appliances, housewares, and building supplies to the public. This is one of the most important sources of funding to help us build! The money we generate from sales helps build homes and run our organization. There are a variety of ways to help, such as:
- Accept donations
- Price and or place donated items out to the sales floor
- Light cleaning such as sweeping & breaking down cardboard boxes
- Move items around warehouse as directed by the Habitat Store Management team
- Cashiering (experience preferred) this requires a 3 hour commitment
- Answer telephones and provide store information/direction to callers
