Who We Are
Whatcom Love INC has been operating for more than 30 years as a partnership of local Christian congregations seeking to support one another in loving our neighbors and serving our communities in the name of Christ.
What We Do
Our Call Center interfaces directly with people in need on behalf of and in the name of our partner churches. It receives requests for help from pastors, church members, agencies, social workers, or directly from people in need, and works to match those requests with resources available in our partnership network. As such, it also serves as an organ for Love INC for discerning patterns of need within our community in order to guide churches in responding strategically through “gap ministries.” Meanwhile, our Partnership Office works behind the scenes to optimize our operations and catalyze community-oriented, missional service opportunities within our church partnership network, and represent the work of our network and our churches to the community more broadly. We are currently in the process of developing and launching programs that will enable us to grow and sustain a larger, more impactful volunteer base.
