Wings Over Water Birding Festival

Who We Are

Wings Over Water Northwest has been in operation since 2008. Our mission is to promote conservation, education and stewardship of the birds and their habitat in the Pacific Northwest as well as encourage ecotourism to support the economy. Our Wings Over WaterNorthwest Birding Festival has taken place for 23 years each March in Blaine, Birch Bay & Semiahmoo. Our vision is to continue in the future to provide opportunities for education and enjoyment of birds in their natural habitat and to preserve this valuable asset for future generations.

What We Do

Wings Over Water Northwest is an all volunteer, non profit, tax-exempt organization. We are focused on organizing the annual Wings Over Water Northwest Birding Festival, providing educational opportunities such as wildlife presentations, expert speakers, birding field trips, and an All-day Birding Expo with activities for all ages, while also providing the opportunity to bring significant economic benefits to this rich and pristine area.
