Wings Over Water Northwest is an all volunteer, non profit, tax-exempt organization. Our mission is to promote conservation, education and stewardship of the birds and their habitat in the Pacific Northwest as well as encourage ecotourism to support our economy.
What We Do
We organize the annual Wings Over Water Northwest Birding Festival in Blaine since 2003. The festival is a 3-day event, with guided birding field trips, an all day Birding Expo with kid's activities, Arts and Craft Vendors, Wildlife Exhibits, and Wildlife Boating Cruises, Expert Speakers. The annual event, requires volunteers to serve on the board, as well as on the planning committee, in addition to assisting as a volunteer during the festival.
