Who We Are
Whatcom Events is a 401c(4) non-profit currently responsible for four of the most epic events in Whatcom County which are the Ski to Sea Race, the Tour de Whatcom, the Mt Baker Hill Climb and Trails to Taps Relay. We believe in showcasing the natural beauty of our area while promoting recreational opportunities.
What We Do
Creation and management of outdoor recreation and athletic events that promote a healthy lifestyle along with the natural beauty of the Bellingham, Washington - Mount Baker region.
The Ski to Sea Race began in 1973 and is the largest multi-sport relay race in the country. The Race was designed to showcase the recreational opportunities in Whatcom County. It takes over 800 volunteers to pull off the largest event in Bellingham/Whatcom County and we could use your help.
Our other three events are smaller but still take 30-100 volunteers each, we'd love your support for any/all of our events.
