Bellingham Alternative Library

We are a cooperative lending library and community center located in Bellingham, WA. We have a member-curated collection of over 7000 books. We specialize in independent media, art books, and alternative culture.

We lend books from our collection for check-out, hold musical and art events, participate in Art Walk, have documentary and other movie showings, host writing clubs, classes and other alternative groups, run a member-based consignment shop, and generally serve as "the living room of Bellingham".
