Who We Are

The Foothills Food Bank was established in 1986 and continues to supply groceries to anyone living in East Whatcom County. Families can visit the Food Bank once per week for as long as they need assistance. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and are part of a network of Whatcom County food banks that distribute commodity food resources.

What We Do

The Foothills Food Bank works hard to support our community by ensuring that all Foothills residents have access to healthy, nutritious food and enough of it. Our food bank distributions serve over 150 families and individuals a week with fresh and frozen produce, dairy, meats, dry goods, and non-perishables. For home-bound seniors and individuals who are unable to come into the food bank, we offer a home delivery service that brings fresh groceries to directly to their home. Our Winter and Spring Pantry Program provides supplemental kid-friendly snacks and meals for low-income elementary school students to help prevent hunger over Winter and Spring breaks.
