WLC Needs ESL Classroom Volunteers
Interested in volunteering your time to support adult literacy and English language learning in Whatcom County but don't have the time to commit to 1-to-1 tutoring? We are currently looking for volunteers to serve as classroom assistants in the ESL courses taught at both Whatcom Community College and Bellingham Technical College. We are currently recruiting tutors for the upcoming winter quarter. If you live nearby these colleges or have wanted to get involved on their campuses, this is a great opportunity for you to give back to the community that only requires about 2-3 hours of your time each week.
