Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho is seeking Spanish speaking volunteers to join our Raiz volunteer team. The Planned Parenthood Raíz program is committed to breaking down barriers in accessing health care in the Latinx community. The Raíz program is about more than just health. It’s about justice, knowledge, and the power to control our own bodies and lives. Volunteer opportunities may include event support, health center greeting, donor thank you card writing, and walking in Pride parades.
3 simple steps to becoming a volunteer
- Meet virtually with the Volunteer Program Manager for a brief chat about volunteer options
- Complete volunteer paperwork and background check
- Attend a volunteer orientation session
Our team is looking for dedicated volunteers who are: Represent PPGWNI at community events Set up and/or tear down materials at community events Interact with the community in Washington by informing them of our services offered
Location and time commitment: Volunteer opportunities vary and may be offered on weekdays and nights or weekends. There is no volunteer hour minimum requirement.
