Our Lighting Lead is responsible for making sure we have a safe, functioning way we test, display, and organize our lighting section. The more shoppable our Store is, the more fundraising we can generate for our cause! Main responsibilities include:
- Testing and pricing new incoming lighting
- Establishing our hard wired lighting section for display with plug-in conversion
- Rotating stock on the sales floor and monitoring old items/making price adjustments
- Dusting off displayed lighting
- Discussing innovative display or organizational ideas with management and implementing approvals
- Analyzing all items to ensure they have proper pricing
- Appropriately disposing of unsellable merchandise
- Assisting customers with questions and removing displayed lighting for purchase or other inquiries
- Training new, capable volunteers to handle the department while you are away
- Identifying what kind of signage or labels will promote the area’s organization
