The annual Youth Point in Time Count helps get an accurate picture of how many homeless youth are in our community at a specific point in time. We need groups of volunteers all across Whatcom county to meet youth living on the streets and survey the causes of homelessness so that our community can gather details and create a solution. 9am-5pm, flexible 2 hour shifts available.
A Note from the Volunteer Center:
The Volunteer Center is working closely with all of its partners in an effort to raise awareness and to make strides in ending child abuse. We are requiring all volunteers working with children to take a 3-hour training. This training is available through Brigid Collins Family Support Center. The fee is only $10 and scholarships are available.
Please sign up for this training prior to beginning your volunteer activity with children. Please sign up directly at RSVP@brigidcollins.org. And as always, please feel free contact The Volunteer Center with any questions or concerns.
