The Generations Corner Shop serves as a fundraising opportunity for Generations Early Learning and Family Center. It is operated by Generations with the help of our fabulous volunteers. The Corner Shop is located in the hallway between Summit Place Assisted Living and Mt. Baker Care Center and gives residents access to some necessities not offered by their residency, as well as some of their favorite treats and gifts for their loved ones. Volunteers not only work the Corner Shop but have become a part of the daily lives of the residents who shop there.
Volunteers must be able to handle money, and must be comfortable learning our card processing through Square on a tablet, as well as run the shop on their own while volunteering, we are a phone call or a short walk away if help is needed. We will of course do some hands on training. This job is great for anyone, any age/ability. Will need to pass a specific background check with Mount Baker Care Center to be working in their facility.
Looking for recurring volunteers who can commit to a day every week. Open days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and we are hoping to add weekends. We are usually open 10a-2p but hours are flexible.
