Tasks and Responsibilities: Will help Tenant Connections VISTA complete a community assessment for the CreateHousing LLC and Opportunity Council by asking tenants what services and needs they are lacking at Regency Park Apartments. In addition, the volunteer helps supervise other surveyors in the field. The Volunteer Supervisor will also work with the Tenant Connection VISTA to analyze and report on the findings of the survey. The assessment will help us understand tenant needs and strengthen services to the residents at Regency Park.
- Required Skills: Strong communication skills. Understanding of data collection and survey methodology (Current college students strongly encouraged to apply).
- Time commitment: The assessment will be conducted on October 25th and 26th and the following weekend of November 1st and 2nd. Volunteers will be asked to attend training on October 23rd from 5-7pm at the Opportunity Council administration building at 1419 Cornwall Ave. The Supervisor will help compile data and write the report to be finished by November 21st.
- Supervision: Volunteers will be supervised by the Tenant Connection VISTA.
