OUR MISSION
We exist to provide trained service dogs for Veterans, Children, and Adults with physical, developmental, and behavioral health disabilities to promote a more independent and enriched life.

OUR VISION
To increase the number of service dogs provided each year to people with disabilities and to drastically reduce the wait time from a two or three year wait to twenty-four months or less!

If you set high standards for yourself, you’ll find board service with Brigadoon Service Dogs exceptionally rewarding. We are seeking individuals who will:

  • Attend a minimum of ten board meetings annually (via Zoom is acceptable).
  • Actively contribute to one of our committees: Program, Advocacy and Outreach, Promotions and Events, Governance, Marketing, etc.
  • Advocate for our cause within the community and among peers.
  • Be open to expanding their knowledge of service dog training through orientation and ongoing training.
  • Dedicate an average of eight to ten hours per month to Brigadoon Services Dogs-related tasks and events.
  • Make a personal, charitable contribution to BSD according to their ability.
