The Community Boating Center (CBC) is seeking members from the greater Whatcom County community who have a passion being part of an environmentally aware social community that support activities on Bellingham Bay. Our committees work with the board in the following areas:
- Advancement/Fundraising
- The Advancement Committee is seeking motivated individuals to assist with approaching sponsors, recruiting partners, researching and writing grants, and planning fun and educational fundraising events for the CBC.
- Board Development
- The Board Development Committee is seeking individuals to review and enhance board assessment and management procedures, and to recruit additional board members.
- Programs
- The Programs Committee is seeking individuals with experience in the following areas: outdoor education, risk management, safety analysis, program development, and grant writing.
Committees meet as dictated by annual events and programs.
